Most common coastal fish species include Red Cod (also known as Akaroa Cod), Blue Cod, Sea Perch, Wrasse, Dogfish, Skate, Leather Jacket, Spotty, Elephant Fish, Barracuda, Taraki, Gurnard, Moki, Yellow-eyed Mullet and occasionally Kahawai - one of the world's great sportfish.

Other possible fish include Salmon, Kingfish, Butterfish and Flounder.

We will take you to some of the best fishing spots in one of the most beautiful parts of the South Island (sorry, no personal GPS allowed onboard). It is our promise to show you a great time on the water and take you on a trip you will remember the rest of your life. All ages and skill levels are welcome; we will teach you everything you need to know. All bait and the highest quality fishing gear is provided.
